5 Minute Physics
HCWDALOPIFMOL
How can we demonstrate a law of
physics in five minutes or less?

Project Overview:
The Driving Question for this mini-project was How can we demonstrate a law of physics in five minutes or less?  In teams of four, students conducted research about a specific law of physics. They learned the ins and outs of their law, the historical context in which their law was made known, and designed a method to demonstrate their law in action. Next, they used their findings and ideas to create a short educational film, lasting five minutes or less. As always, this introductory project was designed to teach the crucial, need-to-know aspects of project work at NWP. In this way all new students, by the close of the project, have a basic familiarity and some level of facility with the very different ways that we work here at Northwest Prep Charter School.
